I am a visual artist and if I believed in Spirit Animals mine would be a Hummingbird. My work is a hybrid of my classical education (PAFA) and my desire to experiment(play) .The last few years I have been inspired by images of vintage women in bathing suits. I grew up in CT a stones throw from the beach and spent my summers beach combing, sunbathing and swimming. My life has always revolved around making stuff. The small town of Pendleton, SC where I live has an annual scarecrow exhibit and yes mine was Bob Ross and yes someone did steal him. I imagine him in a dorm in a nearby university. All whimsy aside, I have a serious side which comes out in my poetry or artwork concerned with spiritual and social issues. My life has changed dramatically in the last 6 years since I set up this blog but I am starting to bore myself so more about that another time. Lori Solymosi
