I am one of those people who is always thinking about her next adventure. I work full time as a research analyst for various cancer studies, but always planning our next vacation. I grew up in the not-so-exciting Midwest, and moved to Nashville 1997 with my best friend. I have always enjoyed travel, but then I got a job at a travel agency, and there was no stopping me. My first big adventure was Australia! I had a former roommate who was a student, so I got my first passport, and away I went. Several trips to Europe followed. I met my husband Jim in 2003, and luckily he shared my passion for adventure. I would have not married him otherwise! While I enjoyed using several rolls of film for each trip, it didn't dawn on me to mix my love of photography with travel on a more serious level. So in 2009, I got a second job to pay for a professional-grade camera, and have been trying to perfect my skills ever since. This blog contains photos of various trips, with a little still-life and my precious kitties thrown in. I have two tabbies, Max and Lou. My favorite kind of image is black and white night scenes. Running around a strange city at midnight is worth it! So hopefully through my photographs, I can share my experiences with others who appreciate travel and photography as much as I do.
