Brian Kiley

I am the husband of an awesome wife, the son of awesome parents, a college pastor at an awesome church, and a graduate student at a mostly awesome seminary. My passions include theology, writing, wasting massive amounts of time watching sports, engaging in quasi-intelligent conversation and being outdoors. I currently reside in Oceanside, California, which is more scenic than Sacramento and less congested than Los Angeles...both of those being former places of residence. Ironically enough I don't especially enjoy the ocean, though viewing it from afar is always a treat. I'm a professional holy man, which is the greatest job in the world, apart from all of the stereotypes. I take the job seriously, but as the previous sentence hopefully shows I don't take myself too seriously at all. The best part of what I do is inspiring others (and myself) to refuse to settle for what's easiest or most convenient and instead strive to live lives of rich meaning and purpose. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I'm constantly fighting an unhealthy addiction to commas.
