I live with my husband in the North East of England. My world centres around the very special people who are my husband, daughter, son, their partners and 3 grandchildren. I love our frequent family get togethers, especially as I also love to cook. I also enjoy travelling, where planning the itinerary and the journey are always part of the experience and the journey is never just a means to a destination and immersing ourselves in the local culture is a must. My other loves include my garden, reading and being creative, which includes writing, needle and paper crafts, an up cycling project or learning something new that has sparked my interest.
