Back in the 1950's I was born a Capricorn in Madison, Wisconsin. Is this why I love winter weather as opposed to summer heat and humidity? Love snow days as opposed to stay in the AC days? Back in the 1970's I married a wonderful man. In the 1980's, we had 3 children in 3 different cities; 2 states. In the 1990's we raised these children and several pets. In the new millenium, I finished a graduate degree in Education; when I was 49! I have had the good fortune of being employed as an elementary teacher and school librarian. When I was growing up, I didn't read much. This blog is about a variety of books and opinions on the world through the eyes of a woman in her 50's.
