From the time I concocted my first 'soup' and baked pretzels in my Easy Bake Oven as a kid 'til now, I guess I've always been a foodie in one form or another. From 1992-1999, I wrote under the alias of Rosemary Sage as the editor and publisher of The Kitchen Thymes newsletter. In 2009, I resurrected The Kitchen Thymes website/blog. While my husband has the reputation for being the chef of our family, I really can find my way around a kitchen having won numerous cooking contests while having recipes published in national magazines. I'm also the Portland contributor for a national online magazine, off the vine [offthevinemagazine.com], based in Napa Valley and write for examiner.com as the Portland Lunch Examiner and am an editor/writer for Portland Finest Restaurants.
