For the past 18+ years, I've been writing full-time: mostly mystery novels (most published by Poisoned Pen Press), but also long and short nonfiction. Before that I was a medical doctor, specializing in the care of women with complicated pregnancies, including those at risk for having a child with a congenital abnormality.
