Honestly, the best way to describe myself is as a person that is interested in way too many things and has nowhere near enough time to do them all. I grew up in a small town in North Carolina, a place that love to come back to whenever I can. I am truly blessed to have an amazing family that is always there to support me and push me to do my best. Growing up with two brothers has been pretty awesome--they can always make me laugh and I know they have my back no matter what. My parents have been the best example of what a marriage should look like and did a good job of raising three kids to be decent human beings. I am the kind of person that always has to be doing something, preferably outside. Kayaking, tennis, soccer, running--you name it. I graduated from Chapel Hill majoring in EXSS and English, which are my great passions in life. I guess you can say I am putting the EXSS degree into use right now as I attend Physical Therapy school. It has been a difficult transition, but I know that God has put me in the right place and right profession. I guess the English major probably goes along with me reading in any spare moment (or making time when I should be doing something productive). I love stories, but I have come to learn that people tell the best stories of all. I really enjoying getting the chance to sit down and talk to people, to hear about different lives and perspectives. I grew up going to church, and though I struggle from time to time, I can trace how God has influenced my life as I look back. Many of the hardest times have taught me the most about who He is and have helped me become a better person.
