Fiona is a Brussels Griffon. Or a Petit Brabancon if you want to be fancy about it. She was a puppy mill breeding mom. She came to us caked in her own feces and emaciated from living her life in a cage; eating and sleeping in the same place she used the bathroom. For six years her world was 3 feet wide and full of inhumane treatment. Puppy after puppy was taken away from her. What did she have to live for? How long could she endure these conditions? And then, just like that, her life changed in an instant. Funny thing, life. In a flash the good can become bad and the bad can become good. In Fiona's case, the bad became good.
