KMA Sullivan

KMA Sullivan‘s poetry collection, Necessary Fire (Black Lawrence Press, 2015), won the St. Lawrence Award for first books. Her poetry and essays have been published in Boston Review, The Rumpus, Southern Humanities Review, The Good Men Project, [pank], Forklift, Ohio, diode, The Nervous Breakdown, and elsewhere. She has received fellowships in poetry and creative nonfiction from Vermont Studios, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and Summer Literary Seminars. Her piece "Women are Bitches" was included in Huffington Post's end of year round up under "required reading for women" in 2013. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Vinyl, an online literary magazine, and is the Publisher at YesYes Books.
