I have more than 16 years of experience in child development and education, and more than 5 years of experience in nonprofit administration. I have experience connecting to and collaborating with community organizations and I’ve formed partnerships with leaders from the Memphis City School System, The Department of Human Services, The University of Memphis, The University of Tennessee and many nonprofit organizations in the Memphis and surrounding areas including the Brooks Museum of Art and The Junior League of Memphis. I earned a BA and MS from the University of Memphis. I really enjoy networking & collaborating with individuals in my professional and social communities and I am highly invested in supporting my community through volunteerism and service learning activities. I am a member of The Junior league of Memphis, Association of Fundraising Professionals and one of a select few individuals to receive a Career Development Grant from the national organization, American Association of University Women, of which I am also a member.
