If it were not for WW2 I would have grown up in the Wenatchee Valley. Suddenly, at the age of three, I found myself living in the Seattle area, where my father took a job at Boeing to do his part for the war effort. As a result, my life has been centered around the grey skies of Puget Sound, while a big piece of my heart remains in the beautiful, sunny Wenatchee Valley.
