I am a born-and-raised Texan and a born-again Christian (baptized), married more than half a century to my childhood sweetheart, mother of three children, and Mimi to eight grandchildren. I enjoy Bible study, teaching various ages in Bible class, and teaching and participating in women’s Bible studies and retreats. I love family time with our children and grandchildren and have really missed that during this six-month pandemic lockdown, so far. I dabble in writing, want to learn more about painting and spend more time with that, and travel! I believe that “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified in His grace as a gift through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. “Romans 3:23-24. I also believe that Jesus came to Earth to teach us how to walk according to God’s statutes, how to love by virtue of His example, and gain an eternal life in Heaven through obedience to God’s perfect plan of salvation. Life on earth should be a joy and a wonder, but life in Heaven after death on earth should be our goal each day of our lives.
