I'm a mother, wife, sister, friend and writer. I am also a nurse and a midwife because once a nurse and/or midwife, always a nurse and/or midwife. I can get a little worked up about birth, early parenting and health issues. I'm a bundle of contradictions. I'm an Australian who hasn't lived there for years. I love Australia, but moved to Florida. I loved the warmth of Florida, but moved to Scotland. I loved being a midwife, but gave it away to write. I love to write, but steal my writing time for travel. I love dogs, but have no pets. I love to garden, but have a pink thumb. I love birds, but know little about them.
