Julia Wilder Banta

I’m a picture book author with three books under traditional publishing contracts. My books are very diverse in theme and style. My first agent suddenly and tragically passed away after my first book contract. My second agent decided not to continue agenting after my next two contracts. After retiring from teaching children with special needs, I’m writing picture books. I taught while raising seven children (three birth children and 4 internationally adopted) and traveled to third world countries as a board member of an international child and family welfare organization. With that same passion of service, I’m writing and living the dream of reaching children with my books.
