Judy Cunningham

I was born in Muskegon, Michigan and grew up in Litchfield Park, Arizona, near Phoenix. Golf, journalism and student government were early passions. After graduating from the University of Arizona in Tucson with a BS in Marketing, and working in sales for Hershey Chocolate, I earned an MBA from Yale School of Management in New Haven, Connecticut. Marketing and management positions at James River Paper and Labatt USA prepared me for business ownership, and in 1999, I bought Timber Ridge Golf Club in East Lansing, Michigan. While managing Timber Ridge, I also maintained a home in Northern Kentucky, across the Ohio River from Cincinnati and close to family. I earned my residential real estate licenses in KY (2006) and OH (2008), and sold Timber Ridge in 2018. My continued interest in writing inspired me to start this blog during the COVID-19 epidemic, in 2020.
