Just another grumpy, brooding author. While I'm not here complaining about one thing or another, I am burning calories being a full-time mother to two beautiful little boys, and a devoted wife to fellow author Matthew Best (my real name is Breanne Best). We live in Georgia with our kiddos, one beautiful German Shepard, and a whole house full of oddities the likes of which you'd have to see to believe. We love the mountains and it's there we find the most peace, so we spend as much time as we can in the North Georgia, Blue Ridge, area. I've worked as a professional writer for nearly a decade now, penning everything from speculative non-fiction, epic and urban fantasy, novel and film reviews for magazines and websites, to a short stint in computer game storyboarding. I've worked full-time as the Editor-in-chief for Red Dress Boutique (managed the blog and snarky clothing descriptions), an Associate Editor for Suspense Magazine, and I've done freelance writing of all kinds between novel publications. As of June 2017, I'm finishing a few different novels that I've been courting for almost half a decade now, and preparing to make another huge life change that involves my writing career (you'll know soon enough)! Previously published novels of mine, by former publisher Rhemalda Publishing, can still be found on Amazon (in paperback form, and an occasional hardback if you're lucky), and audiobooks (via Audible.com) just about anywhere. Current titles include: Guardians of Legend: Son of Ereubus Guardians of Legend: Blood of Adoria *Guardians of Legend: Eternal Requiem is still a work-in-progress, but is regrettably, sorry for the wait guys, the third book in the trilogy. Stand-alones: A Thief of Nightshade Icarus: The Kindred, Book One (no loose ends, promise. If I die tomorrow, you can at least know the ending to that story). If you want to contact me, you can reach me at batman0762@gmail.com, though be warned, I'm not swift with responses. It's not you, it's me. And the hermetic life that an author sometimes chooses to live. I have a Facebook page, but admittedly don't post often or check the messages there. I know, I know ... but I don't keep my personal profile page activated at all. Yes, I loathe Facebook that much. Don't even get me started on Twitter. Hope you enjoy the blogs! May my ramblings inspire you, push you, and above all else, stir in your heart the desire to keep doing what you love (writing, of course). Peace be with you, Breanne
