i'm an audio recordist/producer; an ex-performer (theatrical & musical) and media technician/designer; currently employed as educator/staff @ a small liberal [not] arts college affiliated w/protestant sectarianism of the calvinist persuasion \ i grew up in (seemingly) another time/space continuum when hedonist practices weren't necessarily negative [thankfully]; where creative artistic endeavor required a lotta legwork as well as great (hopefully original) ideas \ i've occasionally dabbled in arts & performance journalism both as staff writer/editor and free-lancer for leftist periodicals, mostly east of the mississippi \ i still experiment w/sound & its varied capabilities, & happen to be sitting on a primo stash of mid80s through early90s downtown NYC scene audio documentation too \
