JK Hayward-Trout can be found in The Dewdrop, 101 Words, Writing It Real, and Purr and Yowl anthology World Enough Writers. She has mixed feelings about sharing that she received an honorable mention in NYC Midnight Challenge because it was only for the first round but, until she has better better to share, she'll take it. Her mother will tell you her daughter did her first mural on the bedroom wall behind the dresser, using a whole box of crayons. She would also share she is still worried about her daughter because she has too many creative pursuits. JK is not worried. She made a living as a graphic artist, sold her photographs and fine art. She also received honorable mentions, won an outstanding award, and had her artwork published in fictionfix.net.
