Jess MacCallum

Jess MacCallum is a business owner, writer and the often-challenged husband of a Proverbs 31 type woman. He met her at a church retreat when they were 15, and watched her grow in godliness for almost 9 years (the first three of which she wouldn’t have anything to do with him) before she finally caved in and married him. He quickly realized he was in for the adventure of his life. Now married for over 22 years, Jess and Anne have 3 children– 19, 17 and 14 years old. While Jess has the easy-as-pie job of Business Development for Professional Printers, a nationally recognized commercial printer, Anne does the real work of home-schooling, leading worship, singing at conferences, recording CDs, trail running, and managing a household that is the center of untold events. Incidentally Jess has a BA in art (magna cum laude) from the University of South Carolina, where he spent 4 years training with the Navigators ministry. He has been involved in a variety of ministries for over 30 years, focusing primarily on men's discipleship but including TESL in Japan, prison Bible studies, small groups, home churches, marriage counseling, and his favorite – nursery.
