I hold a Bachelors degree in English Education and currently work as an early childhood educator. After seeing young children’s preference for rhyming books and how quickly and effortlessly they memorize these rhymes, I was inspired to make available God’s Personhood as the material of such natural memorization with rhyming scripture as its medium. I have made it my mission to carefully (with utmost respect for God’s Holy Word) combine and paraphrase modern Bible translations to make it easier for the youngest souls to commit scripture to heart and memory. My first, self-published book, Our God the Creator, focuses on God’s character revealed in His creation of the world. Within this scripture based series, titles in the working include Our God the Provider and Our God is Love. My own illustrator, I enjoy creating colorful, unique images through acrylic painting and collage. Though forever an Arizonan at heart, I currently reside in Iowa City and attends Good News Bible Church with my husband (and editor-in-chief) Luke Gabe.
