I’m from Yakima - in the heart of Washington State. Rich coffee and European chocolate, hopping on a plane for an adventure, homemade hummus, and the color orange make my heart happy. I enjoy the delight of viewing art as well as creating it. Historical fiction and memoirs are my reading jam, but the Bible is my favorite. This living book refreshes my soul every time I open it. My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 91:4 - from the Psalm of Protection. “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.” (NIV) I love that God uses a soft, delicate feather to demonstrate to us His protective, sheltering power. I have discovered that tucked under the tender wings of God is the safest place to be.
