Jennifer Quist
I'm the author of "The Apocalypse of Morgan Turner" (Linda Leith Publishing 2018), "Sistering" (2015) and "Love Letters of the Angels of Death" (2013). I'm also a lecturer, critic, editor, journalist, poet, and talker in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. "Love Letters..." was long-listed for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award in 2015. In 2014, it won me a Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Emerging Artist Award. It was also a finalist for the 2013 Whitney Award. Sistering was long-listed for the 2016 Alberta Readers' Choice Award and was awarded best novel of 2015 by the Association for Mormon Letters. My first book-length non-fiction Translingual Creative Writing Theory, Practice, and Pedagogy: Daoism and Decentering the Monolingual Workshop is forthcoming from Bloomsbury Academic. I lecture at the University of Alberta in the Department of English and Film Studies.
