Jelis

Jelis is a 21-year-old aspiring gadfly. If you get that reference, you are a geek of the best kind, and she likes you. Jelis calls herself Jelis on the internet partly because she thinks this odd mash-up of her first and second name is just more interesting than either of her actual names alone, and also because "je lis" is (according to elementary lessons which she barely remembers anymore) French for "I read", which she feels describes a large portion of her hobbies, university studies, and life in general rather well. ...Of course, it's not a full description, but seeing as Jelis is also extremely lazy when it comes to typing things up, you are not likely to get one. There was, at some point in her life, a time when Jelis put things like "welcomes new contacts on her MSN list" in her personal write-ups. This is no longer applicable, partly because she does not have the time for IM conversations, and mostly because she has become increasingly anti-social over the years. The best way to contact her is therefore through e-mail, which she checks somewhat obsessively. If you are not someone she already knows however, she is probably not going to answer back. She is, however, very amenable to bribes of coffee (with added mocha syrup), coffee liqueur, alcoholic chocolates, or some other amalgamation of coffee, alcohol, and chocolates.
