I am retired from more things that I want to admit. My husband and I moved to Berlin because our only child lives here with his wife and 2 children. My blog is a random assortment of things I experience as I become accustomed to living in a foreign country. Or rather, as I experience life as a foreigner in Berlin. It also includes the random adventures of William the Wonder Cat (copyright), our Siamese kitten who, before he reached 6 months, weighed over 9 pounds. (Our neighbor who fed him while we went on a trip describes him as a 'hooligan' - alas, a valid description.) Periodically, the blog contains comics of William, drawn by Evie Fullingim, a multi-talented, multi-media artist extraordinaire.
