I began my family at the age of 46. Too old to be a first-time mother? Perhaps. Still got a lot of love to give? Definitely. In April 2006 I accepted Michael into my home as a foster son. In October 2006 I received his little brother Joseph. Through many trials and tribulations with the foster care system, our adoption was finalized on November 30, 2007. That was the day we became a forever family. This blog is our story.
