I am the mother of two children, as different as they could possibly be. My daughter is a professional violinist, she travels the world, is getting married, lives life to the full. My son is very severely autistic, with profound learning difficulties and epilepsy. He lives his life to the full too, but in such a different way and life is often very difficult for him. Me - I am a woman who cherishes the support of an amazing husband and a network of caring friends and family. I have a career I love, teaching neuroscience (the brain is so fascinating!) and I live in a beautiful part of the world.
