I am a wife and mom. The most important jobs I hold. I have been blessed with 5 children who make me laugh a lot! 4 boys and 1 girl, ages 33 to 26. My daughter brought a wonderful son-in-law into our family; they gave me 3 beautiful grandsons named Jonah, who is 8 years old, Samuel who is 4 yrs. old, and Todd, who is 2 year old. In October 2018 they will give me another grandbaby! My son Jacob and his wife Niki blessed us with a granddaughter, Delaney (Della), she's 3. She is another joy in my life. In September 2018, they will be bringing Miss Liberty Jo into the world! In May of 2004, I was honored to marry a man of God, my closest friend, Michael. He brought me a stepdaughter, son-in-law and a new grandson, Evan, who is 4 and granddaughter, Valerie, who is 3. I strive to be a woman of God and He lives in my heart. I am here to glorify God and to use the gifts that He has given me. I never thought I had any gifts and in fact, it is still difficult for me to admit I have a gift or gifts; yet He has given me the ability to put His words on paper. God often puts ideas of what to write in my heart, and it's never a pre-planned writing. I hear Him, I start typing and the words start to flow. I hope that I am able to bring encouragement and good thoughts to anyone who chooses to read my blogs. I attend a wonderful church, Northview Christian Church, where God is allowing me to serve out of my comfort zone. I have always been a quiet person, staying in the background. God is definitely pulling me out of the background and putting me in ministries that I love to serve in. I also have had an absolute joy of a job. I kind of feel guilty calling it work, because it doesn't seem like work.......I have been blessed to work in K-12 schools for 21 years, which has been my heart and soul of a career. Children have always been a passion of mine, and working in the school, I am blessed to be able to form relationships with those children who may need just someone to smile at them, give them a hug or say an encouraging word to. Mostly, I know that children just want someone to listen to them, which I am more than happy to do, while helping them achieve the will to learn successfully. As an added blessing, I was able to form relationships with the staff and have acquired a few good friends that make my days such fun. I took the plunge and created this blog so that I can be obedient to my Lord and Savior in the use of the gift of writing He has given to me. Nothing fancy, or professional, just posts from the heart. Thank you for visiting my site.
