I'm not going to sugar-coat myself. I'm a 66-year old smartass who's sick and tired of a lot of things: 1. I hate rap music and everybody connected with the industry. 2. I'm sick and tired of what has become of education. I expect teenagers to be ignorant. What I CAN'T fathom is the idiocy of the so-called experts in education who think that if students aren't learning, it must be because teachers aren't connecting with the students. Well, as Dickens's Mr. Bumble would say about No Child Left Behind, "If the law supposes that, then the law is a ass, a idiot! 3. I’m old-school Catholic. Like Macbeth seeing the dagger in a vision, I often see a pair of pliers before me as I endure one guitar liturgy after another. 4. I often despair over the abuses of the English language. I’ve all but given up hope of seeing the apostrophe in its rightful place, and the next person who uses impacted as a transitive verb gets it with the ball-peen hammer.
