I am the Eclectic Eccentric. I'm a creative sort in many fields, but music is my home stomping grounds. I'm a showman by nature, and I enjoy knowing the art of how to read and work a crowd, and how to offer them entertainment that's just half a step to the side of what they were expecting. New and novel enough to blow a mind or two with Sheer Awesome, but not so ENTIRELY alien that the listener shrugs and walks away. I play blues fiddle in Chicago bar bands, and sing in a classical concert chorus. My most involved long-term project is composing a full Requiem Mass, and my short-term hobby is writing for a fantasy professional wrestling league. I refuse to choose between highbrow and lowbrow art. They're both awesome, and if I can find a way to write a baroque cantata involving dick jokes, I just may do so one of these days.
