Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I am the oldest of four children to parents Marty and Kathy. None of us have a Texas accent. Thank God. My mom grew up in St. Louis and my dad is from Pittsburgh, but his yankee accent didn't stick when his family moved here when he was 3. I did a four year stint for college in Mobile, Alabama, but returned as fast as I could. For better or worse, Dallas is my kind of town and I am here for her through massive heat indexes, hail storms and high winds.
