A journalist turned mentor. After more than a decade of being practicing journalist, he decided to teach full time at the College of Communication, West Visayas State University. His passion for teaching was born when he was invited to teach mass communication and journalism subjects in a Catholic university after finishing his master’s degree in Mass Communication. He also earned a Doctorate Degree in Management. His academic background is enriched by his experience in the field of journalism which makes him more effective in imparting knowledge to young and budding journalists. He also believes that teaching is the best footprint he can leave to the hearts and minds of people. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the Visayan Tribune, a local newspaper in Iloilo City.
