I'm a London-based teacher and teacher trainer. I'm also the co-author of two series of five-level General English coursebooks, OUTCOMES and INNOVATIONS, both of which are published by National Geographic Learning. I've been teaching since 1993 and writing and travelling to promote the writing since 2000. When first starting out as a writer, I had the great fortune to initially be mentored by Michael Lewis and Jimmie Hill, the men behind The Lexical Approach, which has been a major influence on me as a teacher and materials writer. In addition to all of this, I'm also a father of two wonderful children, a life-long Arsenal supporter, an obsessive collector of old vinyl records and a resident of the People's Republic of Harringay in North London!
