I'm a Toronto granny who started blogging as a way to keep in touch with my kids, grandkids, and friends while on a 3 month trip to South Africa. I kind of liked it - sort of like the diaries of my girlhood, but open to scrutiny by, and comments from, interested others. I find it's a good way to sort out my thoughts on some things - they seem clearer when you see them in black and white. Other than that, I love music, reading, gardening, travelling, animals and especially parrots.
