I am a life-long educator who loves children and wants to help transform American education! I begin teaching in 1998. I taught elementary school for 8 years, high school English for 4 years, and have been a middle school teacher librarian in Los Angeles since 2012. I have a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction and am currently obtaining my Masters in Library Science. I have always been passionate about education reform; meeting with the media, senators, state senators, assemblymen, school board members, the department of education, and educators in order to share ideas about what works and what doesn't work in education.
