My Husband and I have moved from Northern Lower Michigan to the Prairie's Edge recently to be closer to his aged parents. We packed up and bought a modest home on a river with 5 acres. I being a Gardener at heart have inherited some amazing flower beds along with extra room to make my dreams come true! We will be building a barn at the back of our property with reclaimed barn wood. I plan on filling it with chickens and goats...and whatever else that may show up needing a home. Hmmm this will be an interesting venture. Join me as I adjust to this life filled with daily Eagle fly byes and coyotes, fishers, hares, an occasional bear, and too many other animals to list!
