My self: a wife, mother and a teacher dabbling into her thirties. Living in a modest home north of Toronto with frequent road trips in and around the province (or further). My life: a thirty something husband who has made a career crunching numbers on the weekdays and running a tractor on the weekends. In the spring of 2009, we welcomed a daughter whom I’ll refer to as Sunshine. Her stubbornness comes from her father. Her determination comes from me. It’s a lethal combination. My purpose: to ruminate on my sometimes eventful, at times comical, life; reflect on the joys and challenges of loving and being loved; and to share my culinary adventures with those who enjoy food as I do.
