generosity of strangers

West Warwick, Rhode Island

I think we all reach a time in our lives when we step back, take stock, and ponder some of the big questions. Over the past couple of years, I've done a great deal of soul searching, and I've come to realize that I'm not getting any younger (big surprise, right?) and that it's foolish to think that I have all the time in the world to pursue what I'm really passionate about. That being said, and I'm slowly, but surely, beginning to realign my priorities--I'm now much more productive at work, doing things that are helping drive change in the organization; I'm writing every day; I'm studying Italian; and I'm focusing a bit more on some of the important things I've neglected over the years. The generosity of strangers has has special meaning for me, and I hope to share why in this blog. More important, I hope you'll share your experiences as well. We've all been touched, moved, inspired, and energized by the generosity of strangers. I really believe that.
