My name is Alex and I am 22 years of age. I was diagnosed with Hypermobility Syndrome (Hypermobility Ehlers Danlos) in January 2014. I am trying to raise awareness for chronic illnesses such as Hypermobility and the rarer classifications of Ehlers Danlos syndrome so that better understanding can be established to assist medical professionals in diagnosing the condition. This would result in a much faster diagnosis for a condition that individuals are born with and more effective treatment plans can be put in place much earlier for patients that are suffering from this chronic illness.
