I'm a fundraising professional with 22 years of experience. My work history includes NSFRE Foundation (now AFP), American Red Cross in Georgia, Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas, Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, and Ronald McDonald House of Durham. My educational background includes a B.A. in English and Speech Communications from UNC-Chapel Hill and a M.A. in Philanthropic Studies from Indiana University (IUPUI). I have been a Certified Fund Raising Executive since 1997. Today, there is so much information available to fundraising professionals. There is a lack, however, of simple fundraising planning and evaluation tools. In this blog, I'll provide examples of different fundraising reports, suggest when to use them, and how to adjust your strategies for stronger results. I hope that I can offer some advice that will help others advance the missions of organizations that our world a better place.
