min·i·mal·ism [min-uh-muh-liz-uhm] Use of the fewest and barest essentials or elements Our lives are full. Full with options, chances, opportunities, choices ... and stuff. Lots and lots of stuff. In fact, most of us have so much stuff, we don't even know what we have. We forgot about that dress in the back of the closet, the DVD under the couch, the book on the shelve. And by forgetting what we own, we forgot who we are. Because in todays consuming environment being who you are is inextricably connected to what you buy. So what would happen if we got rid of some of the stuff we don't really need? Would we lose our identity by doing that? Maybe, for a while. Until we realize that who we are is something that can be found on the inside. My life has been full ... with stuff to be exact. But my life wasn't fulfilled. Follow me on the path to a more fulfilling life, with less stuff, more knowledge about who you really are or can be and a bigger sense of what's really needed instead of wanted and a newfound appreciation for it. It's big, it's scary, you might even call it "alternative" and you might get strange looks and unkind comments. But is that really saying something about you, or is it just saying something about the other?
