I deeply appreciate the creative, restorative, life altering ability of words. I recognize that words can also wound and truth is absent from the rhyme, "Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me." At the same time, I choose to focus on the WORD and words that heal, and am endeavoring to speak and write more of the words that heal, uplift and encourage, and less of those which wound.
