Ellen Day

I am a writer working towards publication of a nonfiction, humorous, travel adventure story and several children's picture books. I live in Colorado with my family, my Chihuahua, Pixie, and my cat, Emma. If I had a chinchilla, I would call him Chewy. Even though I live in Colorado, I prefer a year-round, warm outdoor lifestyle wearing shorts and flip-flops to bundling up in the dead of winter like the kids in "A Christmas Story." My blog talks about my journey to publishing – how I have used humor and inspirational tidbits to help me get through the tough parts, tools to help me get published, and entertaining travel anecdotes. I am also a nature lover and readers can follow updates of Pixie, Emma, and different species of wildlife sightings in my backyard as the seasons changes.
