I am an "Independent Professional," or solo entrepreneur. I'm passionate about helping the small business community thrive. After over 20 years as a CEO of two companies, I now have the best job there is. I help leaders of their own companies to be better at what they do so they can thrive professionally and personally and their companies can contribute to the economic and social health of their communities. My background in business and human relations drives me to incorporate the useful, practical ideas that move a business forward as well as the simple ways people can improve how they do things and think about things. I live in San Luis Obispo County, California, and I am dedicated to helping the local business community thive so people who grow up here can have good jobs and stay here to raise their families. (And then perhaps my grandkids can grow up here also!)
