People who know me say I am the rambling Dubliner. You can call me by any name you like. For going on over 40 years I was known as the Sound Man in Moore St Dublin. If I add the years I helped my father in his shop I have to add another 10 making 50 in that beloved street. Brought up or jumped up in nice Glasnevin (not the dead centre of Dublin) where I had a happy childhood. My first introduction to photography was by my dear mother who early let an opportunity pass without taking a few 'snaps' with the Kodak camera. Family gaderings were her speciality . I have carried on the tradition up to the present day. My last counting I had around 2300 photo files on my hard drive . I have no experience of operating a blog (but willing to learn ) I only hope I will succeed in bringing whatever interest that crosses my ramblings around dear old Dublin. I have decided to have-a-go at blogging after a goodly time spent on Facebook. I must pay a special thanks to my son Richard for his encouragement and tecicnal help in getting me up and running. Please make a little space in your busy lifestyle and I will try to share the things that make me earn the name The Rambling Dubliner . Oct 2016.
