Single Father of a lively (very) 22 year old daughter...raised her "on my own" since she was 2. Spiritual AND religious, I hold a BA in English Lit from Upsala College, and a Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia. I have worked in NYC and PA in a variety of fields, and am currently living the quiet life in Upper Montgomery County PA, with my daughter, two dogs, several cats, and a snake. These devotionals are roughly based on the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's Lectionary and come from the experiences I have had as a single parent, and for talking with other single parents. I consider myself to be more of a "main-line" Christian, but have respect for any belief or faith that seeks to uplift and support all people.
