Been writing since I could hold a pen. Published Grandma's Poetry Book, November, 2014 . In 2017 I published Should I Wear Floral and other poems on Life, Love and Leaving. I write articles, short stories and poems. My memoir of a Harpenden childhood, set in the 1950s is Red House to Exodus and will be out in August 2024. I am almost finished my novel about an older woman who takes early retirement. I have won two competitions at Winchester Writers' Conference: one on Retirement in 2010 and one on Sustaining the Environment 2012. I have got Highly Commended on a Daily Echo Feature competition 2012 and Highly Commended for the Retirement competition 2011. In 2022 I was shortlisted for the Writers and Artists short story competition. I have almost finished my novel about a girl growing up with a deaf sister.
