I have worked for 15-years in public sector health and human services and recently served as Executive Director of a community based nonprofit that provided education and training services. In this role, I served as a link between public policy makers and ethnic and underserved communities. A social worker and organization development practioner by trade, I began my career as a forensic case manager. I quickly established myself as a high-energy exceptionally creative problem solver that is results oriented, a tenacious strategic planner, and highly motivating. As my career progressed I gravitated to management, administration and public policy, establishing myself as a recognized expert in policy and program development in California. I have written several program plans that were funded by the California Department of Mental Health and obtained two county contracts, and several subcontracts. I have a Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Fresno and I'm working on a Doctor of Psychology degree in Organization Development at Alliant International University-Fresno.
