Two summers ago I was given a copy of Elizabeth David's Summer Cooking. It was one of those book I could not stop reading. Elizabeth David's writing style was expressive, evocative and personal. Not only was I intrigue with her recipes, I was on a journey with her adventures, her self-found knowledge while relating to her passion for cooking and respect for ingredient. Elizabeth David had inspired me to share my ridiculous obsession with food.
