I work in the visual arts using themes from my life.The images I create reflect my experience as a child, daughter, sister, friend, lover, wife, mother.The images are haunted by ghosts, demons or spirits fostered by social pressure, family and worldly relationships. The borders between fantasy and reality blur combining everything seen and felt along with a mysterious other. The fairy tales of youthful promise and myths of goddesses are strong influences. I also run a small gallery, The Sirens' Song in Greenport, specializing in contemporary works on paper, but also exhibit painting and sculpture.
